Who I Am
Hello!I am Ruhi Dholakia, the founder of Mind, Body, Sport, LLC. I am so happy you’re here!
With over 10 years of experience working in the health and wellness space, I serve as your Pain and Exercise Scientist. I come baring a Bachelor’s degree from THE University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Exercise and Sport Science with a special focus on Neuroscience and Biomechanics. From there, I went on to gather a Master’s of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology from Florida State University, the nations #1 Sport Psych program. Along the way, I earned my yoga teacher certification, along with my group fitness and personal training certs as well. Mind, Body, Sport, LLC, is where all of these certs, degrees, and trainings come together as one.
I find my purpose in life to be to hold space for others. Over my own athletic and personal journey, I found myself lost for space, almost wishing I had a place like this to turn to. My mind was blaring alarms at me to get grounded, my body was far too used to living with pain and injury, and my sport(s) served as a reminder of what I COULDN’T do, versus what I CAN do. I found that by creating space for myself to bring it all together, others benefited as well. I am an ever-learning individual with ever-changing goals, and through MBS, I hope to spread the learning and lessons from the change to you all.
Taking a Holistic Approach to Life
Mind, Body, Sport, LLC, values holistic care for all of my clients. In our journey together, I will assess every aspect of your life to ensure that each part of you is working in harmony FOR you, not against you.
Think about it this way…
Living a Holistic Life means taking a look at the Whole Picture, not just the Big Picture. Luckily, that’s exactly what I’m trained to do.
And no, I’m not just limited to athletes (of the literal sense). I work with Coaches, Refs/Umpires, Managers, C-Suite Executives, Teams, Organizations, and Individuals who all want to feel and live better.
Essentially, I will support you in whatever YOUR sport is.
